Delta Airlines’ last 747 tour adds new stops

As Delta prepares to say goodbye to the 747, it has added two stops to its farewell tour: Paine Field and Los Angeles.

The new stops are in addition to the Detroit-Seattle, Seattle-Atlanta and Atlanta-Minneapolis/St Paul flights from 18-20 December that were previously announced. The flights can only be booked by employees and Delta‘s frequent fliers.

The last scheduled flight of a Delta 747 will be from Seoul to Detroit on December 17, followed by the farewell tour. Delta has been operating the 747 since 1970.
