According to Qatar airways’ website, the Middle Eastern airline is all set to begin Airbus A350 flights into Lahore. This would be Lahore’s first ever A350 operated flight.
The airline currently sends a mix of multiple aircraft with different capacities which include the Airbus A320 family, Airbus A330 (both -200s and -300s), Boeing 777(-200LR and -300ER) and Boeing 787 Dreamliners. According to RoutesOnline and Plane Spotters Pakistan’s twitter feed, the airline will operate the XWB to the city “minimum once a week”.
Pakistan’s first A350 flight was also performed by Qatar airways in December last year when the Airbus flew to Karachi as flight QR610.
The inaugural A350 flight is set to take place on the 2nd of April on QR620 (STD 2015 LT STA 0130 LT).
