November 24th to 26th, 2017 saw the advent of Pakistan’s largest and first ever Travel Trade Expo, the Pakistan Travel Mart, held at the Expo Centre in Karachi, Pakistan.
It appears the future is upon us. Just as Cessna announced their SkyCourier, there was another announcement, but of a very different kind. Airbus, Siemens and Rolls Royce have collaborated on a project dubbed the E-Fan X, which intends to put a hybrid passenger aircraft in the sky by the year 2020.
As is evident from its name, carrying cargo is a significant future role for Cessna’s brand new offering: the SkyCourier. Capable of carrying 6000lbs of cargo or 19 passengers a distance of 900 nautical miles at a speed of 200ktas, the SkyCourier already has a customer: FedEx.

The Flytewise team was in attendance at the Dubai Airshow 2017, held at Dubai World Central. This year, the show attracted about 79,000 visitors at ended up with an order book of more than $113 billion.
